OCTOBER LIMITED EDITION KITS

It's a new month once again and STUDIO AZUL would love to offer a new set of LIMITED EDITION KITS for the month of OCTOBER. This months kits are divided into the shabby and sweet as well as freestyle and fun so dare to be adventurous and choose a kit and be CREATIVE!

Please note that come November, all kits will be IDENTICAL in order to serve you better and to offer affordable and quality scrapbook supplies. But we'll continue to offer limited edition kits and add-on kits whenever we can. Lastly, please reserve your kits via email ONLY. To assure that we tally all the purchases properly and to avoid double reservations we will not include reservations via text, YM or personal email. Thank you very much for your patience :-)

UPDATES ON SUBSCRIPTIONS

Hi everyone! Just a quickie, as of today OCTOBER 15th, 2007 we only have SIX (6) slots left for reservation of memberships. Our regular kits will begin in NOVEMBER 2007. Reserve your kits now! ANNOUNCEMENT FOR NOVEMBER KITS

Before anything, we have been overwhelemed by the positive response to our kits, thank you so much!

However, we have to inform you as early as now that in an effort to get the newest stock to our subscribers, our shipment has been delayed a little bit. Unfortunately our kits will not be released in time for the November 15th launching. Reason being freight shipments from abroad is beyond our control but rest assured we will do everything in our means to get them to you immediately.

***Please note that kit payments procedures for the November kits ONLY follows: Cash payment of post-dated checks to be made on November 15th. Afterwhich, succeeding checks be dated every 1st of the month.

Studio Azul Kit Reservation Process

In the past two days, we have gotten several inquires and requests for kit reservations through text or our private emails. Please be advised that in order to reserve a kit you MUST send us an email at studio_azul@yahoo.com with the heading Kit Reservation and indicate whether you would like a single kit purchase or a 3 month kit subscription. We will then respond to your email to confirm. We hope you understand that we cannot accept reservations through any other means of communication. We are doing so that we can properly tally the subscriptions and purchases and to avoid confusion and double reservation. Please also remember that our regular monthly kits begin in November however, we are accepting reservations as of this moment.

Studio Azul DT Call

Studio Azul being the first Philippine scrapbook monthly kit club and we are looking for a designer to join us on this journey. We are looking for a scrapper with an excellent eye for design that can create pages using traditionally non-matching kits, and can think outside of the box! We are looking for a Filipina who isn’t on any local design team and we require that our designer be exclusive to Studio Azul. We will be taking submissions from now until October 20, 2007 11:59pm and the winner will be announced October 25, 2007.

As our designer, you will be asked to:
- Create 4-5 projects a month using our kit
- Contribute ONE technique and ONE sketch per month
- Design for Studio Azul for a 6-month term, beginning on November 1, 2007 (starting with the November kit)

With that being said, all projects made with the kit are yours to keep, and when used on the blog you will be given full credit. As our designer, you may also submit your own work for publication 1 month after the debut of the kit.

Your compensation will be:
Free monthly kit with no shipping charge (for Filipinas residing overseas, shipping will be discounted)
15% off purchases on any add-ons that may be available with no additional shipping

Please submit your applications to studio_azul@yahoo.com and include the following information:

1. Your full contact information: name, address, email address, and phone number
2. A link to your on-line galleries
3. A link to your Blog, if you have one
4. A short bio of yourself
5. A description of your scrapbooking style
6. A short paragraph or two of why you want to be our designer (you can be completely honest here, if you’re in it for the free kit, that’s fine with us – we just want to get to know you better)
7. A short list of your “dream” kit
8. A list of your current commitment(s)

Please also include the following projects:
1. 1 new (not previously posted or published) original layout that uses at least 3 different patterned paper manufacturers (distressed papers don’t count), 2 embellishments (stickers, chipboard, etc), and 1 trim (lace, ribbon, etc.)
2. ***2 layouts
3. An altered item or an additional layout
4. ***A card

**Layouts can be 12x12, 8.5x11, or 8x8.
***For items 2 to 4, please send us your best work. These can be posted online; we just want to see your best stuff! Please feel free to submit anything additional that you fee you would want us to know about you. (File size not exceeding more than 300kb)
